Familiarity with most common Internet browsers

Ability to relate to callers and provide resolution to customer service/sales calls

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Ability to handle stressful situations and bond professionally with frustrated customers

Experience operating a thermostat and humidifier as an end user

Aptitude to understand extensive training related to electricity, wiring, HVAC and related topics, which may include past experience or education in these areas

Ability to use Windows OS desktop computer systems and office applications, and navigate between applications

Answer inbound calls from end users, assess customer’s support need and handle/route accordingly, using documented procedures and available tools

Use troubleshooting guidelines and techniques to identify solutions resulting in first-call resolution

Manage customer expectations and escalation of issues that are beyond the scope of support

Log customer calls accurately and efficiently

Remain knowledgeable of ’s product line, service offerings, and requirements

Identify and provide input on knowledge base articles and/or unique or recurring customer problems
